Ingredients
- 100g lean lamb mince
- 250g butternut squash, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 250ml water
Instructions
- 1.Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the lamb mince and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- 2.Add the cubed butternut squash, chopped apple, and water to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the squash and apple are very tender.
- 3.Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender or use an immersion blender directly in the pot (once cooled slightly).
- 4.Blend until completely smooth. Add a little more boiled water, breast milk, or formula if needed to reach your baby's preferred consistency.
