Ingredients
- 100g lean lamb, finely diced
- 200g sweet potato, peeled and cubed
- 150g ripe pear, peeled, cored, and cubed
- 100g zucchini, cubed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 100ml water, as needed for blending
Instructions
- 1.Place the diced lamb, sweet potato, and zucchini into a steamer basket set over a pot of boiling water.
- 2.Cover and steam for approximately 15 minutes, until the vegetables are very tender and the lamb is fully cooked.
- 3.Add the cubed pear to the steamer for the final 5 minutes of cooking to soften it.
- 4.Carefully transfer all steamed ingredients to a high-speed blender. Add the olive oil.
- 5.Begin to blend on high, slowly adding water until you achieve a smooth, consistent purée suitable for your baby's stage.
- 6.Allow the purée to cool before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze in single-portion trays.
