Ingredients
- 200g ground lamb
- 250g sweet potato
- 2 tablespoons oat flour
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- 1.Peel the sweet potato, chop it into chunks, and boil or steam until very tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash thoroughly with a fork. Let it cool slightly.
- 2.In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, mashed sweet potato, oat flour, chopped mint, and minced garlic. Mix well with your hands until everything is evenly incorporated.
- 3.Lightly wet your hands to prevent sticking and shape the mixture into 8-10 small, flat patties, about 4-5 cm in diameter. This size is perfect for little hands.
- 4.Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Gently place the patties in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5.Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Allow them to cool down to a safe temperature before serving to your toddler.
