Ingredients
- 100g lean minced lamb
- 150g carrots, peeled and chopped
- 30g unsulphured dried apricots, chopped
- 5ml olive oil
- 200ml water or unsalted homemade broth
Instructions
- 1.Gently heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced lamb and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- 2.Add the chopped carrots and apricots to the saucepan. Pour in the water or broth, bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat, cover, and cook for 15 minutes until the carrots are very tender.
- 3.Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender. Blend until completely smooth, adding a little more water if needed to reach your baby's preferred consistency.
- 4.Allow to cool before serving. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or freeze in ice cube trays for easy portions.
