Ingredients
- 1/2 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow lentils)
- 1/2 cup white rice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon grated garlic

- 4.Add the washed rice and dal, stir well to coat with flavors.
- 5.Pour in water, mix, and bring to a boil. Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 3–4 whistles (or simmer covered for 25–30 minutes until soft).
- 6.Once cooked, mash lightly with the back of a spoon for a smooth, baby-friendly texture. Serve warm.
