• 2 cups uncooked rice
• 12 chicken wings
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika (optional)
• 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructies

1. 1.Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. 2.Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with a paper towel.
3. 3.Place the chicken wings in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder if desired. Mix well to coat.
4. 4.Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer.
5. 5.Bake the chicken wings for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
6. 6.While the wings are baking, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
7. 7.In a medium pot, combine the rice with 4 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
8. 8.Fluff the rice with a fork and serve alongside the baked chicken wings.
