Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 12 chicken wings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 2.Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 3.Place the chicken wings in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder if desired. Mix well to coat.
- 4.Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer.
- 5.Bake the chicken wings for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- 6.While the wings are baking, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 7.In a medium pot, combine the rice with 4 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
- 8.Fluff the rice with a fork and serve alongside the baked chicken wings.
