Ingredients
- 1 small carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1 small potato, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Pinch of mild herbs (optional, like parsley)
Instructions
- 1.Peel and chop the carrot and potato into small pieces.
- 2.Place the chopped carrot, potato, and peas in a small pot with enough water to cover.
- 3.Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer until vegetables are very soft, about 15–20 minutes.
- 4.Drain excess water, leaving a little for mashing.
- 5.Add olive oil and optional herbs, then mash or blend until smooth and creamy.
- 6.Allow to cool slightly before serving to toddler.
